I HAVE AN OBSESSION WITH DOCUMENTING THINGS.
Which is almost certainly why I ended up as a photographer.
In 5th grade, I started keeping a detailed record of my day in a journal. Years later, I can flip back through them and practically taste what I ate for breakfast on the first day of 7th grade (3 Eggo waffles).
Now I bring the same energy to photographing you, so that when you curl up on the couch and turn the pages of your album a few decades from now, each photo will bring to life the sights, sounds, and emotions of the day.
I wasn’t about Instagram Reels in the beginning (okay, I hated them)....
But like everyone else, I knew had to appease the all-powerful algorithm. One day, I had the idea to string together a series of still photos to create a GIF with a stop-motion effect, and from there, it quickly became my “thing.” It allows me to tell a complete story in just a few short seconds while also giving serious Super-8 vibes.
I’ve found my place.
When I was a teenager, my family and I passed through Durango, Colorado on a road trip, and something about it felt like home. After the panini, I started spending summers out here and dreaming of making the leap full-time.
Then the perfect apartment fell into my lap, and my tarot card reader (yup, I love that kind of thing) told me that I had a community waiting for me. The Universe really wanted me to move here, hang out with other artists over margaritas and tacos, and do roller disco with friends on Friday nights.
