Hey! I'm Hanna. Traditional photography isn't my cup of tea—and I'm guessing it isn't your either.
So let's throw out the rulebook.
I’ve got 8 years of experience with everything from weddings to music videos, a killer eye for artistic detail, and a knack for making you feel at ease in front of the camera—while still striking cinema-worthy poses.
Welcome!
I’m currently in Arizona and will be moving here this winter! I’m SO excited to get to spend time in such a beautiful place, and I’ve scoped out some amazing spots for photo shoots or elopements. If you’re trying to find the perfect elopement location and dream about getting married somewhere warm and beautiful, this state might be for you! Here are the best Arizona elopement spots that I’ve found so far!
I’ve put together the best of the best to help you narrow down your list!
The Salt River runs through the Tonto National Forest and is one of the few rivers in the world where fresh water turns to salt water. Tamarisk trees were planted along the riverbanks to protect the top soil from blowing away, and the trees produce salt, which ends up in the river. There are tons of scenic spots along the riverbanks, and because it’s such a long river, it’s also possible to find a private spot for an elopement. Salt River is also a popular whitewater rafting destination.
The Superstition Mountains in Arizona are freaking GORGEOUS, and also shrouded in mystery. The mountain range has had many names, but people started calling in “Superstition Mountains” in the late 1800s when they realized that people were disappearing.
The mountain range is one of the most painted and photographed (after the Grand Canyon), and has over 200 miles of pristine wilderness. It’s a protected wildlife area, which means anyone who visits is prohibited from disturbing the grounds, leaving anything behind, or taking anything. It’s also one of the most rugged hiking areas in the US, so not for beginners or anyone unprepared. But if you’re an avid hiker and down for some beautiful views, then it’s totally worth it!
I’ve actually been lucky enough to stay at this little slice of heaven! With sky-scraping red rocks towering behind the ranch and cabins, it makes for an insanely gorgeous wedding venue. Saguaro Lake Ranch is set against the Bulldog Cliffs along the lower Salt River. They host weddings set against the cliffs, and it is BEAUTIFUL!
Probably one of the most iconic places in Arizona, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon are a must see. It’s a crazy popular tourist destination, so if you are thinking of doing your elopement or a photo shoot here, weekday mornings are best! Another epic option if you’re planning a Horseshoe Bend elopement is to finish off the day with a Grand Canyon helicopter tour!
Located about an hour from Tuscon, Mount Lemmon is a popular summer retreat. There are hiking trails, skiing in the winter, and gorgeous views as far as the eye can see.
Ok. If you want to elope in Arizona – this is one of the most beautiful views you could ask for! With granite cliffs stretching out for miles over beautiful treed valleys, this is a backdrop that you couldn’t even dream up. The Mogollon Rim stretches over 200 miles and has the most amazing sunrises and sunsets.
